Un filtre à carburant est un filtre placé dans une conduite de carburant qui élimine les particules de saleté et de rouille du carburant. Il est normalement constitué de cartouches contenant un papier filtrant. On les trouve dans la plupart des moteurs à combustion interne. Les filtres à carburant jouent un rôle important dans les systèmes d'alimentation des moteurs modernes d'aujourd'hui. Le carburant non filtré peut contenir plusieurs types de contaminants, tels que des éclats de peinture et des saletés déposés dans le réservoir lors du remplissage, ou de la rouille causée par l'humidité dans un réservoir en acier qui peut endommager le système d'alimentation en carburant, c'est pourquoi un filtre à carburant est essentiel.
